Don't be surprised that there are 20 year old Abels still in use today. The Abel Big Game reel is a standard arbor reel. It is full machined out of bar stock aluminum for weight savings and tight tolerances. Abel uses its "Stop-a-Sub" cork drag system that offers a large range of drag setting. Reel sizes range from creek size trout to billfish.

These Abel Big Game reels come with a ported frame.  The finish is high gloss black.
