GudeBrod Braided Butt Leader Material
This Gudebrod Braided Monofilament line is ideal for making braided butt leaders. It comes in 35 and 50 pound sizes. 50 pounds is used most for lead core and tungsten custom shooting heads. Spool size is 50 yards.
The woven mono construction creates a locking "finger puzzle" type bond. It can be "inch-wormed" onto a fly line or shooting head, but when pulled tight, the weave tightens on the line. We strongly recommend you apply an instant glue to this material.
