The Foamicator added on top of the mini bullet head aids in visibility and helps keep the fly upright in the water. The wing is constructed of Uni’s Glo-Yarn which gives it a very realistic appearance on the water and reflects sunlight beautifully. If you’re one of the fishermen inclined to fish into the darkness this fly can be easily illuminated with a flashlight. This allows you to see it on the water into the dark when the big boys seem to move into the shallows to feed. I have not found a way to ask fish what they are taking my flies for but I’m quite certain that this one is also taken for a beetle which adds to its versatility. Red.
