Description

The Catalyst brings it all together for light-and-fast trips into the backcountry or the city. Made with double-woven ShiftLayer nylon (see sidebar), it's tough and abrasion-resistant. It loads from the front for fast access to gear. An outside, center-zip vertical storage pocket holds gloves and lunch. The Autofit harness and split waistbelt stabilize the load, while 3-D spacer-mesh shoulder straps fine-tune the fit. Other details include: a slider-adjusting sternum strap with built-in safety whistle; hydration pocket with hidden tunnels to keep tubes out of the way; compression straps to stabilize the hydration bladder (not included); and side-mounted stretch-mesh pockets for water bottles.
